fancanon is a community-driven platform where writers can publish, share, and discover fanfiction stories based on their favorite books, TV shows, games, anime, and more. Whether you're here to write or just read, you're part of a supportive creative space.
Yes! Reading and publishing stories on our platform is completely free. Some premium features or donations to support authors may be available in the future, but core features will always be accessible at no cost.
You can read stories without an account, but to publish stories, leave comments, or follow authors, you'll need to create a free account.
You retain full ownership of your original content. By publishing on our platform, you grant us a license to display and distribute your work on our site, but you remain the copyright holder.
Yes. Every story and comment has a 'Report' option. We take violations seriously and will review flagged content promptly according to our community guidelines.
To edit a story, go to your profile, select the story, and click 'Edit'. To delete a story, open it from your dashboard and select 'Delete'. Note: Deleted stories cannot be recovered.
At the moment, downloading is not available. We’re exploring this feature with author permissions in mind.
You can leave a comment or review, bookmark their work, share their stories on social media, follow them to stay updated, or (coming soon) support them through tips or donations if enabled.
You can browse by fandom, genre, or tags, use the search bar to look up specific topics or characters, or follow your favorite authors to see new content on your feed.
Your story may have been removed for violating our community guidelines or Terms of Service. Common reasons include plagiarism, explicit or harmful content without proper tagging, spam or misleading titles, and copyright infringement. If you believe this was in error, please contact our support team.
